My inspiration comes from every human action outside of my small room. When the cock crows to announce a new day, the first smile that spreads across my face emanates from the believe that each day comes with a new action and idea. As I step out of my room, i try to see in every human being that I meet what s/he thinks and believes about various life forms. Inspiration comes from the Lord, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and every other god. It comes from nature and it's beauty, sometimes from the beauty of others. But most importantly, it comes from the acts of others. Even mistakes are inspiring, so you can learn from them. Lots of my inspiration comes from this. I have been a friend, companion and sister to many young people who are silenced by all sorts of trauma in different levels. I am really into peer-counselling. This means I have to be the 'voice' of reason to someone who feels trapped and sees no escape. This also means that as a young person myself, I have to lead by example and practice what I preach. There are a lot of issues that i come across everyday: teenage pregnancy, suicide, domestic abuse, substance abuse and more. ( lees verder)
